45 rpm record album, Norma Kooi
Transform a vintage 45 RPM record album book into a unique one-of-a-kind card or bill holder.  These 12-sleeve album books are hard to come by in the U.S. so if you find one, scoop it up!

Disassemble the book and paint both sides of each sleeve with white spray paint. Then use a plastic stripe template and the [ink pad] direct-to-paper technique to ink stripes onto both sides of each sleeve.

In this particular Paris version, I used over 100 rubber stamps to
embellish the pages but feel free to customize your book to your own personal taste.
Because these record album books usually have at least 12 sleeves, you
can use it as a birthday card holder, each sleeve holding cards for a separate month - Jan., Feb., March, etc.

In keeping with my pink striped theme, I used pink/white striped paper and vintage metal buttons on the cover. I used European hand dye ribbon as a closure but you could also use fibres. Remember one thing – have fun, enjoy!
