I am an artist living in Alberta, Canada. I am a papermaker and have been working
with collage, bookbinding, art-dolls and (past two years) polaroid /emulsion
and blender pen transfers. I love using the camera as a tool to photograph
my 3- dimensional collages and collage set-ups. There are so many uses for transfers
- on my handmade books, simply matted & framed and in various collage projects.
The blender pen process is also a great way to use enlarged photocopies
of my transfers and for work on the dolls. Being able to photograph my collages
and then use the transfer process is a wonderful way to stretch my work in a
new direction. It's instant gratification when I pull a polaroid transfer....I
love it! Jeanne Germani |
