Keepsake treasures

rebecca carter kautz: I made the mini tag books out of polymer clay, Fimo, specifically. I brushed them with Pearl-Ex after I stamped them but before I baked them. The paper inside the books is mostly coffee stained and I went kind of overboard on the coffee so you probably can smell Folger's Choice on the pages. It's aromatherapy!

gillian allen: the cover of this 4 page fold up album, incorporates, dyed baby wipes sprayed with gold webbing spray, Chemtek, rust effect applied to card and paperfastners, buttons, painted lace, pressed flowers and distressed photo off the web, gold heart charm and painted satin rose. marsha siddoway: 'Legacy' Attic Treasures
This attic treasure started as an empty tin that was hammered, bent and twisted to give it a sense of history. The base was either painted with black acrylic or covered with salvaged paper. The top too was covered with a brown leather looking paper.There is a wax seal on top imprinted with a brass 'M' from an old printing press alphabet. The interior has been lined with packaging from a favorite paper arts store. The tin is filled with a Queen Victoria collage (under the lid), replicas of old photographs, money, documents, Victoria as a child matchbook, tiny treasures and other various souvenirs from a world of make believe. Images were printed on old, naturally aged paper found in a thrift store photo album. The lace was aged with fire and rinse water from watercolors. Scent was added to complete the illusion

shauna palmer:antique playing card triptych. I made the little triptych using acetate, diamond glaze reinkers and tissue paper. I xyroned them to the black paper and stamped them with a fresco pad
